David Gilmour's lighting designer, Marc Brickman, has a long working relationship with our own Mark Grega. They both toured with Pink Floyd. It was only fitting that when David was looking to add lasers to his Radio City Music Hall shows in New York, Marc asked Strictly FX to help out.
The shows at Radio City went so well that the lasers were added for the rest of the tour. A tour which lasted from April of 2006 to August of 2007, starting in the U.S., then headed to Europe and back twice.
The show features a 50 watt YAG laser and a 10 watt copper-vapor laser in several songs, most notably, "Echoes" and "Comfortably Numb".
DVDs are available from a couple of performances from this tour. "Remember that Night", featuring the performance at the Royal Albert Hall and "Live in Gdansk", featuring the performance from the Gdansk Shipyard in Poland
