Strictly FX has joined the Black Eyed Peas on tour. We started with one high powered white light diode laser system and two green diode laser systems for the B96 Chicago Summer Bash 2009 Festival. Since then, the Peas have added CO2 effects, low fog, and confetti to their futuristic poppin' set.
Since the summer of 2009, Strictly FX and the Black Eyed Peas teamed up for a number of radio show dates across the nation. Some of the dates have included performances on "So You Think You Can Dance," Teen Choice Awards, season premiere of the Oprah Winfrey show, the American Music Awards, and Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Over the Fall 2009, the E.N.D. world tour moved across the world for a string of Japan and Australia dates. While overseas, the effects changed to now feature five high powered white-light diode laser systems and two green diode laser systems. There are also three LSGs (Low Smoke Generators), four Confetti Cobras, and sixteen CO2 jets.
Through alternating radio promo shows, their headlining 2010 E.N.D. tour, and multiple TV performances, the Peas moved ahead strong into 2011 with a laser set-up able to accommodate a broad variety of venues. One of the main features of the tour is the massive "laser wall of light." The numerous high powered lasers are used as a lighting instrument rather than a special effect, dancing along to almost the entire show's set list.
